Once again, Newstalk ZB is giving us 14 hours of broadcasting time across Good Friday (6am-6pm) and the evening of Easter Sunday (6-8pm). And we have more great news - this Easter we’ll be on another nationwide radio network too!
Sunday Sanctuary will be airing on Easter Sunday morning, giving us a bonus opportunity to discuss the Easter story with a brand-new nationwide audience. The addition of Petra’s show means this Easter, CBA will have 16 hours of programming across two of the country’s biggest talkback stations.
I’ve been reflecting on just how extraordinary this all is. For the past 27 years we’ve been handed the keys to the country’s most-listened-to radio station and given free rein to say pretty much whatever we like each Easter. What an enormous privilege it is to be trusted with such a large nationwide audience.
I feel full of gratitude for our wonderful presenters, writers and producers - and incredible supporters such as yourself, who make it possible.
We’re confident that 2023 can be our most soul-nourishing Easter broadcast yet – and touch hearts and bring hope for many who need to hear it – but it takes a lot of time and money to bring 16 hours of programming to life.
