CBA is thrilled to be adding an award-winning mental health podcast to our portfolio in 2023. Are You Mental? has been a passion project of Mick Andrews, who joined CBA in 2020, and we are delighted to be partnering with Mick to help with its production and marketing.
The podcast launched two years ago and is demonstrably changing lives for the better. It’s a companion to the weary and heavy-laden in their hour of need, exploring different mental health struggles by talking with experts and those personally affected.
Alarmingly, more and more New Zealanders find themselves stuck in dark places and our suicide figures are among the worst in the developed world.
The Bible makes it clear that God aches to alleviate people’s suffering, and calls us to be involved in helping those people find healing. Gal 6:2 calls us to carry each other’s burdens, and 2 Cor 1:3-4 says that God comforts us in our troubles so that we can comfort others in theirs. •
