International recognition for CBA

Updated: Nov 11

The award for ‘Best Director’ was won by CBA’s Senior Producer Josh Couch & CEO Phil Guyan.

We are excited to announce that CBA has won another Silver Award at the prestigious international New York Festival’s World’s Best Radio Programmes. This time, it’s for Best Director for our time-travelling Christmas 2020 radio production Newstalk BC. It’s gratifying to be competing alongside the BBC, CBS Radio, ESPN, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and other multi-million-dollar media organisations from 30 countries around the globe.

These accolades advance our mission, because they reinforce CBA’s reputation as a credible provider of quality content, in a fiercely contested secular media industry, and give us access to large audiences.

Senior Producer Josh Couch says, “Our greatest ‘win’ is whenever we’re able to share the heart of God - faithfully, creatively, and winsomely. These awards have opened some pretty heavy doors in the past, so it’s exciting to think what other opportunities might be coming our way.”

We are incredibly grateful to you, our supporters. We cannot do what we do without you. When we shared this news by email, we received so many encouraging replies. One supporter summed it up nicely, “Praise the Lord! God can move mountains!”
