The second season of our Media Chaplaincy NZ podcast series re_covering with Radio New Zealand has just wrapped up - and it’s been a huge success.
This season saw Rev Frank Ritchie sit down with Mike McRoberts, Susie Ferguson, Barry Soper and other titans of New Zealand media for intimate interviews about the stories that have shaped them most, personally and professionally.

Today FM host Rachel Smalley, who reflected on the life-changing impact of reporting on the Syrian refugee crisis, was moved to tears listening back to her episode and wrote to CBA to thank us for the “cathartic” opportunity to speak about her experience.
Feedback like this is not unusual from our re_covering guests, and drives home for us that this podcast is helping us reach, encourage, and support media professionals across the country, which is at the heart of Media Chaplaincy NZ. •
